Jr. Alex Minetti

Only his first year at PCD, Alex Minetti '14 helped improve the size and strength of the varsity basketball team. The seniors from last year were all at least six feet tall, meaning the team lost all it's height. Minetti gave the team hope and the confidence it needed to beat teams with 6'8 players, such as Hyde. He had an amazing 2012-2013 season and will be a deciding factor in the team's success for next year.

Sr. Ricky Pacia

Ricky Pacia '13 has been involved with the  varsity basketball team for four years and became a valuable, passionate player. As the starting point guard, Ricky was a leader both on and off the court and kept all teammates focused. His four year legacy will be missed and won't be forgotten.

Sr. Alfredo De Santos

As a two year varsity player, Alfredo is what makes the game of basketball so special. His sense of humour and friendliness shouldn't be confused with his enthusiasm, because of his hard-working style of play. Due to his diligence, durability, and fondness, Alfredo has become an important part of the team's success over the past two years. He will leave big shoes to fill for next year.

The most accurate word to describe Senior guard Justin Fornes is tenacious. His intensity and unwillingness to give up on the court gave the Knights a motivating force to win each game by working as determined as he did. A two year varsity player, Fornes will leave an impact on future PCD basketball teams. He will be missed and surely never forgotten.
